Glimmering Gold Crown
Original drawing and gold foil on archers paper, framed, 52 x 58cm,by Damian Smith
All of these pretty things. A voice told her she would need them. The voice gave her a name, it put her in a place and put a crown on her head. But all these things are heavy. They have defined her. And now they control her. She struggles to look up. The burden is great, though her spirit is still free, it looks forward to guide her and shows her a way forward.
